I do not have a welder and do not know anyone to close to me that does so i was wondering if anyone makes downpipes on the forum? i have a d16a6 with garrett t3. if i cannot find anyone i will probobaly just get a flange and a U-bend and take it to an exhaust shop but what shops would be good to go to for doing this type of work?

Each setup is different and it's hard to make a d/p that will fit "everytime".

Best bet is an exhuast shop.

I talked to midas about this today. They said that prices will start at 250 and go up for a complete exhaust... Of course they wont let me go cat-less..........I really want to buy a welder some piping and fab my own down pipe, exhaust, charge pipes, and ic piping. I dont care about pretty welds, only that it doesnt leak...

A guy who is tired of paying ppl to do a man's job

How about learning how to weld??? That is my plan. I refuse to pay others money for something that I can learn to do. Hell, i might even by a manifold kit that I have to weld, a u weld it roll cage, and other **** once I learn to weld, I've decided to take some classes and postpone my turbo build. I'm just gonna thorw my clutch. flywheel, do my suspension, and wait for my welding skills to improve.

yea waste your money on that downpipe it wont fit on your application

i dunno why i have to keep on repeating myself on these forums. downpipes are not 100% interchangable. if anythign i would say .. its anywhere from 10% to 65% usable.

i make downpipes

send me a picture of your turbo and manifold setup

185$ shipped for a 2.5 downpipe tig welded and mandrel bends.
