So i was on my way home from work today, i was heading to meet up with a fellow H-T member to pick up a front lip and a CF hood for my hatch...Well anyway, I was driving my normal way and for some reason a man running across the street grabbed my attention and i thought he was running into traffic, which he did, he got me really nervous so i pulled into the other lane, the passing lane, in which point all cars slammed on their brakes to avoid hitting this person, which i did also but my car just slid, screeched from about 15-20mph to hitting a girl in front of me in a Mazda 626. All i really saw was her car stopped and me just sliding, i got nervous didnt think to downshift or anything, slammed right into her. Its very hard to explain, but it was pretty much my fault of course for being the one who "rear-ended another driver....Even the girl was real nice and she was like you'll be fine and what not because she knew it wasnt just my fault for not being able to stop in time...but whatever. I need ABS...

Her car had a little white dust from my chipped paint on her bumper, my car is pretty much screwed as you will see from the photos...

MORE PICS ON LINK ABOVE, FOR SALE

Its time for a new project i think

Looks like he has some frame damage in the front. You could try and find an entire front clip and salvage the car...if you still want your EG.

Yeah the fton is pretty bad, the pictures dont really show it but the AC was bent right into the header, and was basically burning it to hell so thats another problem...the fram is a bit bad, the rad support is twisted and then pushed back (which is what pushed the AC and stuff into the header).........

I might just wait for the 06' Si if its all that its cracked up to be...But i am still not 100% sure...so we'll see....

dont sell it. same thing happened to me and my car looked exactly like how yours did. even hit in the same spot and my hood looked just like that. all i did was grind the welds off the core support and replaced it with an aftermarket core with a whole aftermarket front end. total to fix was less then 300. the metal where the fender goes can be pounded to be straightened. trust me, itll look like nothing even happend.

Yeah, that hatch WAS mint. Everything fit well and lined up OEM. I'm sorry to see something like that go to waste. **** happens for a reason, maybe it's a blessing in disguise and you'll pick up something better. Who knows bro, but keep your head high.

yea well around there. 60 for core support, 30 for front bumper, 30 for each fender, 40 for lights, 35 for radiator, 100 for hood. certi-fit and junkyards are my friend haha.

all the body panels from certi-fit fit pretty good too.

Damn Rob, that sucks, but I agree with Abe and Ed, fix it. The parts you can probably find really cheap and the fix should be easy, especially with some help from the guys around us who know these cars like the back of their hands. Sorry to hear it happened, but it seems like it was an unavoidable accident. One question though, what exactly happened with that guy? Did he run off or did he stop? If he stopped and you got the name, I bet everyone would testify that he ran into traffic causing the accident and will probably be held liable.
