Missfire CEL code 73 and 74. how to fix!!!!!!!!!!
so today i puled out my chipped OBD1 ecu and put in my OBD2 ecu to check something out. i need to get my car inspected and they do the OBD2 plug test. the car wont pass if im throwing a CEL.
so with my OBD1 ecu with uberdata, the car runs mint. theres NO signs of missfire. i put in my OBD2 ecu to check to see if it will trip any CELs because i have a high flow cat/Test pipe and was worried it my throw a secondary O2 sensor light. the car still runs mint with the OBD2 ecu and theres no signs of misfire but the car still throws codes 73 and 74. i did a search and found a few guys on this forum have the same problem but no one was able to fix it.
in my LS, i have crower 403 cams, P30 pistons, MSD 6A and Blaster coil, NGK wires and NGK plugs for an LS. i use to run my OBD2 ecu with this setup minus the pistons for a good 6 months w/o any problems. so i dunno why the car is throwing a cel???
tomorrow im gonna pull the plugs, wires, check out the rotor, fuel injectors, do a valve lash and see if any of that solves the problem.
any other suggestions?
