before/after pics of turbo install last night (lots of pics)
hey, id like to thanks everyone on here for helping me out when i needed it. i tried not to ask any stupid questions and i always searched first. this is the first install i have ever done and it went pretty smooth. considering i didnt know how to change my own oil exactly 2 years ago i have come along ways. i knew absolutly nothing about cars back then nor did i care. i think my dad was getting worried about me because he got so frusterated many times because i just didnt care about what he was talking about his cars. but then one day i just thought this was was cool. so i read mags and this forum and learnt alot. so i went out and bought a honda and then a different motor and then i started reading about turbos and so it goes. iv colleced parts over the last 6 months. and when manifolds and turbos's started coming in the mail i think my dad was a little confused! this kit has costed me about $1700 bucks after shipping and stupid tools i had to buy so im glad i met my budget. yes i know SSauto chrome.
to be honest i have the manifold and wastegate. im just waiting till i get some more money in the next couple weeks to buy a name brand stuff. hopefully it will last that long. but when you are on a tight budget getting the manifold and wastegate for $200 new shipped it was quite appealing. boost is set at 5psi. its a jdm b16a with a garrett T3 60 trim. custom downpipe and intercooler pipes that were tig welded by my friend and made by me. here are my parts. if any has good or bad to say lets hear it. if you see something wrong let me know before i drive it too long. any feedback appreciated
all together this took about a month to install but i mean i was waiting a long time for the pipes to get welded and for parts to come in. last night i pretty much installed it from only having the only lines hook up. took about 10 hours from there including injectors and guages and manifold install.

yeah i make them, if you want one i can make another. i dont know the thread pitch from the top of my head, oh wait yes i do. the thread pitch is M14x1.5. the barbed fitting that go into the brake booster fit in there tight and then for vacuum line im running 1/4" and they fit tight. you have to cut it off there is no way your going to pull it off. NO LEAKS

how much for one? and can I request different thread sizes?? I want to use it for an oil manifold instead of air.
I would need 3 1/8" NPT threaded holes and I think (cant remember....) 1 3/8" NPT threaded hole which would need to be spaced an extra 1" away since the oil pressure sender is purty big
if you could do A/N and NPT I might do that instead though.

$25 shipped anywhere in north america. $27 if paying with paypal. you will get the manifold with 2/3/4/5 ports and all necessary barbed fittings. all you have to do is put the fittings where you want to and i reccomend teflon tape

well my cluch only lasted about 4 half throttle pulls on the freeway tonight. i was just watching my guages and then it totally broke loose so i drove home and am now looking for a clutch. anyone have a good idea of where and what i should get?
heheh i was talkin to my friend about your intercooler piping setup and IC setup
gunmetal_tegra
and i told him u prolly mounted the intercooelr with at least 2 inch spacing from the radiator support.. if you would've fitted it up closed to the rad support you prolly woudlnt have had to go so extreme in cutting the bumper.
just a heads up for the future.

Haha... my clutch only lasted a week or so on boost, then I had to get a new one. LoL... I don't think stock clutches like boost at all.
I went with ACT, I don't know how much power you are making or what your plans are the for future, but the XTSS might be a clutch to look into.
