Default ls vtec with a pr4 ecu with a msd rpm activated switch for vtec

is it the same as a p28 performance wise? or would the p28 performe better?

thats freakin ghetto and so is a stock p28 those are things people did 7 years ago things have changed

i just bought my crx with a ls vtec and the guy had a ls ecu hooked up with the msd rpm activated switch for the vtec. what do u suggest i do? and whats wrong with a p28?

get a chipped p28, not a stock p28...

on a VTEC ecu, there are two separate fuel and ignition maps. one for the nonvetc part and one for when VTEC kicks in. when VTEC is on, the car puts more fuel and more timing into the motor. the LS ecu only has one set of fuel and ignition maps so u risk the chance of running lean.
just buy a P28 ecu and have it chipped with a GSR prpgram or have someone make and tune an uberdata chip for u. u will most likely need to run wires from the ecu to the engine for the vtec solenoid and VTEC pressure switch, since ur friend ghetto'd his ls-v setup
