Default Painting my cold air intake.....

My car has been down for about a month and a half so I'm getting antsy to do something to it (anything). Would painting the intake piping flat black help with heat resistance?

No, actaully make it worse. If you want to fight heat, I hear that getting wrap for it helps. If you're that antsy, detail your car.

painting it wouldnt injure your intake at all unless your car is running and you decide to spray the pipe while its in the bay then it wouldnt be beneficial
but
if your trying to lower the temp, thermal wrap it or something
