Default What dizzy for obd-1 ls/vtec

Just got my ls/vtec put into my DA and it wouldnt start(not getting any fire). There is power going into the dizzy but nothing coming out. Im using my old obd-1 ls dizzy(worked fine when i pulled the engine. I had to cut a leg off to put it on, so now i want to get a new obd-1 dizzy that will bolt right on to see if it is my dizzy. Which dizzy will work and have the same bolt pattern? I tried a 93 integra 1.7 but it was the same bolt pattern as my ls. Any help would be great!!

coil or ignitor might be bad. you should run some tests to see if they are bad. should be a lot cheaper to buy a coil or ignitor. the dizzy you should get all depends on the VTEC head you used. ex; 94-95 gsr head, use a 94-95 gsr dizzy.

if power is getting to your dizzy and it's still not sparking, I say check your spark plug wires for resistance.

I say replace the spark plug wires with new ones or ones you know are working. since power is going to the dizzy, the problem has to be from the dizzy on but since you have a new dizzy, it has to be passed the dizzy. last component to the spark plugs is the wires...

Check all grounds, battery to chassis, battery to tranny and engine, chassis to valve cover and chassis to cylinder head. Any check engine lights? Wiring issue. Ignitor (wht wire) signal gettin to Dizzy? hmm good luck. I know this kinda stuff isn't any fun.

Did you check your timing? It might be off thats why you're not getting any sparks.
