K&N E-2427 ...
Goddamn what a pain in the *** to install. I'm sure I could comment in a couple of tight/virgin metaphors in here but after scratching my head for 30 minutes on how to get the damned thing in ... I figured out an easier way.
Put the filter inside the airbox with the rubber grommet (is that what it's called?) in the front. Pull intake hose towards you/filter. Ding ding ding ... filter installed with minimal fuss.
Hope this helps future K&N E-2427 owners.
Now ... I'm going to go out for a drive.

haha, that sounds like a good method. i wrestled with the damn thing for a few minutes in the freezing cold. eventually i just removed the little spring clamp on the intake hose. the 2427 adapter is bigger than stock so the intake hose won't pop off.
I hacked up my stock one to fit the K&N over it...costs less and--TA-DAAA! Fits like stock!
