I have been looking at ecu's on ebay. i don't plan on buying one there but i was thinking about getting mine chiped. All of them say the same specs, but the Jun chiped ones say that the vtec pulls very hard. Does that mean that it will engage faster? Would it be a better chip for people who drag race? Would it put more ware on your engine. thats all i really want to know. if there is anymore relavent info i should know about it then fill free to post that as well.

It says it pulls hard???? Nah - BS - they just added a lot of fuel at the vtec engagement point.....You drag race???......ha.....what mods do you have on your prelude?

chipped ecu's are a waste of money. They raise your redline and add a good amount of ignition timing which can be detrimental to your engine.

Every engine is different... you couldn't pay me to run one of those ecu's.
