Default power steering fluid

I had my car stolen and i was having this guy work on it for me, and the power steering pump hose was disconnected so there was no fluid in it, so he put tranny fluid in there, is my pump broken now since you have to have a special honda only fluid? if not what kind do i get?thanks

I would definitely suggest flushing the transmission fluid out of the system and replacing it with Honda or Honda-specific PS fluid as soon as possible. Whether or not anything was damaged by running the wrong fluid will remain to be seen, but it certainly can't hurt to get the correct fluid in there.
