Default could this be causing my turbo setup to not hold boost and spike up to 10...

my boost goes up to 10 psi and then goes back down to 5-6 psi
its a greddy 18g kit on a GSR

if that is the case you have a ripped diaphragm, and yes it will cause an overboost issue.

so can i use a wasta gate off anothe turbo? custom fab it to fit my greddy turbo?

those turbo are prone to cause boost spike, thats the major downside of an internal wastegate

plug up hole.. get new manifold and enter the world of externally gated setups....


or if the kit is somewhat new... call greddy and bitch them out for product failure and get a new wastegate...... lolz
