Default updated: help..... anyone knows AEM cold intake 21-412 (integra type-r 97-01) can be used to 94-01 L

I have 21-412 (integra type-r 97-01) AEM cold air intake, can I install it to my 95 LS B18B1?

It seems that is ok, but actually I know for LS part should be no. 21-403

HELP!!!!!

I have already installed type-r intake to LS integra, It's ok but this is not prefect fit.

the pipe is a little bit shorter than original LS aem cold intake(21-403). so the pipe is too closed with engine manifold and distributor and also the filter is too closed with the wheel's fender inner.

I decide to move out and sold it (very lucky), and already bought a used intake 21-403, it helps me to know what's big difference with 21-412 and 21-403.

In my opinion, every style intake if you buy a used, please make sure the model number first and it is better with no modification work for installation.

finally, I don't know how to post the pics so I can't let you know what's difference.

Thanks for the professional information.

Hmm I don't believe you can without any modification. The intake manifold on b18c's (more lower) are different from the b18b's

yes the ITR AEM intake will fit the LS motor. you might wanna get urself a tappered couplin since the intake is a 3" and standard LS is 2 1/4. BTW all stock B series intake manifold t/b sit the same height, except for the GSR (b18c1) note that the there is a difference in the b18c's (like the GSR's c1 and the ITR's c5) and not just the b18b's. someone else explain this to him, but yes you intake will fit.

Ahhh! ok! Well i was just going off memory when i was looking inside the engine bay of my friend's gsr. His intake manifold looks like a shell type deal, thought the b18c5 was the same. thanks for clearing that up for me
