i have a turbo crx and i bought a 89 4speed hatch for 800 and i already have 16's for it with some fuzion's and i dont have that much money to spend on it because im still working on getting my crx running right and this is more of a tell me what you think i should do to get my car in the 15's i already know i need a 5speed tranny so im going to get that in about a week but besides the 5 speed what would you do to a sohc d15 motor.
my list of what i should get are GUDE cam, zc pistons, 4-2-1 header and exhaust with silencer of course :-D

If you have a turbo CRX why would you want a 4-2-1 header?

Give us some more specs on the car first.

Why buy a cam when you can just up the boost for way cheaper?

Get a B-series swap, preferably one with V-Tech.

bro take out everything, i am a weight hor. the less weight your car has the less power you need so that means a car weighing 2000 pounds with 210 hp will be faster than a car weghing 2100 with 210. theres a right up on lexan windows right now but if you dont wanna go that extreme rip up the sound deadening, strip interior, take out wiper motors, ps, ac, all the fan ducts.... etc

Live with the D15 for a while stock until you can save up for a swap. The money you'll be spending on trying to make that D15 fast, you can spend that toward a swap, and youll probably be faster with a swap stock. B16's are a dime a dozen these days, and with all the swap info on Honda-tech alone, i'd be surprised if you couldnt do all the swap labor yourself.

5 speed and mpfi will get me 15's but i've been thinkin if i blow it up i dont really care and a rebuild kit isnt expensive and im thinking about nitrous, Venom has a kit out for the beginners to nitrous i know a little about it, well all the precautions needed to be takin so its not going to go boom on me but i think im expierienced enough with it to install it in my car but what would you guys think of this and where would this get me in quarter mile? im thinkin of using a 75 shot with bone stock motor. another motor would only cost about 250 from a junkyard near by

For the price of the kit, you can do the mpfi swap and you won't blow your motor the first time yout take it down the strip. Think about it..2 injectors+nitrous=BOOM
