Default header for d15

im tryin to get a little bit of power out of my sol. already have apexi n1 cat back and aem intake. now im looking to get a set of headers, the d/c's are good but a little expensive. i was looking for opnions on headman chikera headers. i reaalize the rice factor in them, but apperantly the tork step version gives a decent power gain, for only 180 bucks. IS IT WORTH IT?

header wont do much for a D15...get a CRX Si cam and cam gear...you will see about 3x the power gains for the same amount of money

Yeah...the CRX si is D16A6 a 1.6L motor...D15B7 is 1.5L motor. The heads have the same cast...but the CRX si has a much more agressive cam. When tuned properly you can get 6 or 7 WHP out of that mod alone

i had the chikara header on my d15, now its on my z6! i liked it, it had the tork step and for the money its a decent header, but i do agree to the the a6 cam and an adjustable cam gear, youll enjoy it.

I just recently put a header on my d15, it made it sound more agressive pulls much harder. Alot more power then a intake. I bought my header off e-bay for 127.00 shipped e-gay header people talk bad about these headers but it bolted on fine for me and no exhaust leak the welds on the header look really good. Overall i think it was worth my 127.00 dollars shipped.

hmm sounds like a good idea for the a6 cam and cam gear. when he says "tuning" should i buy an aem (adjustable) cam gear, that part was unclear to me. also any step by step of doing this on here?
