Hey guys just had to share that I love the idea of hondata but not when the emulator (blue box) I assume is starting to go up in smoke once plugged in! Man I hate waiting but oh well I guess thats how $hizznit goes.

P.S.- Has this happened to anyone?? Or am I the only unlucky F@ck.

How did you manage that when you dont even have you car back yet. What did you plug it into?

 

My "red button" stopped working and it turned out the blue box had gone bad. But no smoke or anything..

 

Thanks Dustin wasn't to sure.. meaning I better get more educated with the product on my f-in car. I didn't manage anything since it was in the shop on the dyno about to get tuned and once they plugged in the blue box it began to smoke and burnt the chip... Defective unit basically an they said I was getting one shipped next day air and had it bench tested before hand. Oh well it's been out of commission for a week. Another day or 2 won't hurt.

The reason for this is that your unit was accidentally shipped without datalogging capability. The Datalogging chip was sent and accidentally installed backwards shorting things out.

A new unit has been sent and is at SFP waiting for you.
