PROBLEM SOLVED!!! Bottoming out NEW OMNIPOWER front 7" springs... Fixed with new eibach 8" springs
Alot of you remember this problem from my other thread (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1311697) that involved the springs fully compressing(binding) on my GSR when I hit bumps.
I ordered a set of 8" springs from ground control and just finished spiritedly test driving with them installed. ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD! I used to thud/bottomout in the front when i hit medium to large road F-ups and I had clearance for every part of the suspension for it not too. You can all see from the pics in the above link that it is the stupid spring being too short/too many coils/inch.
The new springs were 1" longer and were ~25lb/in less spring rate (425-vs-448). They have about 1.5 less coils total in the spring which gives it alot of motion before binding unlike the Omnipowers. I really think that they should change the ones in the Omnipower Slip-on kit with these because theirs suck.
Anybody care to comment? Do alot of you have thudding on large bumps, cuz I know alot of you have 6 or 7" springs. Maybe you are mistaking it for something in the suspension hitting somewhere, this might solve your problem to.
The 2 springs were about $120. I have my car at the same lowered height (~2") as before by twisting down the collars an inch, and I could lower the car almost another inch still. The large adjustibility of the twist collars is wasted by the use of a short spring in 90% of the kits out there. I mean cmon, who drives on the street with a 4.5" drop... sheeeze.
Sorry if I sound excited... but my car has had a bit of a rough ride for a long time and smoothness iz owning me right about now.

True, I ended up spending even a lil more... but what I have now is 90% as good... Lowered Adjustable Smooth Performance.

should have gotten ground controls in the first place.
glad to hear this worked out for you.
how much trust do you have in omnipower products now?

I still say those Omni springs were nowhere near 450 lb/in, or whatever they were supposed to be.
Glad to see it's fixed.
You're experiencing the same things I have already experienced. I first got Koni Sports with H&R Sport springs. I had originally wanted GC's but got the springs instead. I thought the springs were junk and finally dropped even more money on the GC's and got less than half back on what I paid for the H&R springs.
