Melted my A/C line a couple of weeks ago, now at idle, my cooling fan keeps turning on and off. When I put the car on ACC setting with the key, the fan will stay on. Can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx.

 

What do you mean AC Line?.. The AC cooling fan wires or the high/low pressure lines.

From what I know, the AC fan only comes on when the AC button and blower motor are on.

 

the high/low pressure line, and it's not the AC fan, that's not hooked up, it's the cooling fan, the one on the other side.

 

if you have autozone by you a quick fix is to get an adjustable thermostat fan controller, that's what it is called, its in the back (ask for it) under $20

tap a wire to your battery, and this allows you to adjust when the fan comes on, includes a probe, easy install
