ok guys heres my thing. i bought my car dec 02. sine i had it ive bought many items to hook the car up and spent about $3336 on it. it looked hell of clean. my car was stolen on july 24 04. they took it all and left the car in the ditch. i got it back and said to myself this is my baby aint no one gonna stop me from building her up. so i worked on it got it back on the road and started buying things for it again to hook it up once again. just recently my wife got into an accident with it and its not totalled it is drivable but the front left fender in banged up. now i have to send the car in the straighten the framof the wheel well out and fix the bumper the windshield has already been replaced. now im stuck on what should i do. i dont really want to sell the car its only like $1000 of repairs and this is my baby. what do you guys think.

i have a 95 lx 4 dr that to me is just dying to get fixd up

see thats the thing though i want to keep it not sell it its just that ive put so much money into this car that its thrown me into a loop hole pattern man

 

IMO

1) <U>Keep it and Daily Drive it </U>- You still have your baby and don't have to worry about more money going into it

2) <U>Find a new project that is strictly for fun </U>- the less time it spend on the road (day to day) the less likely something will happen to it.

 

thats not a bad idea actually. but if i were to do that you guys probably would hate me because i would have to find my long lost love. toyota supra 96 twin turbo targa 6 speed. sorry but that IS my favorite car of all time dude.

Dansaleen, I have a 94 Accord, 2 Door. Had the same thing happen to me. Only thing they didn't take was my engine, H22a, with a bunch of internals. Instead, they took my front seats, my rear passanger window (I think they just broke it off cleanly, but there was no glass to be found), took my hood rod, all the caps under the hood (oil, washer fluid, clutch) and took the little cigarette tray out of the back of the consol between the seats. This was after I hit a wall on I-35 in South austin, and I still got the car, and back to where I was before Sure I'd take a Supra, my roomie drives a 73 nova that would give a decent Supra a run for its money, but I still stick to my 4 banger Anyone from Austin Texas 78748 ? Might have seen me around, car is known around south Austin.

 

you know what guys **** it im keeping the car. its gonna cost me 900 to fix it and get it back on the road. i going to fix this ****** up and ill be damned if this car stops me from doing what i want to it.:D
