Default JE SRP or Honda CTR Pistons

I'm currently running the SRP pistons in my B16 which I believe 10.4:1 compression (their off the shelf pistons). I would like to raise compression and was told the CTRs are good for about 11:1 with the B16 head. Can anyone tell me if this is a good upgrade?

yeah it is a good upgrade but you will have to have your cylinders bored to fit those ctr pistons....

you can get standard size cr pistons, run the srp's because they are a forged piston, and they will be good for some nitrous, later.

Do you think I can run a JR supercharger with this compression?

i would run a supercharger with as high as 12:1, but i like to push things to the limit to.I think with some injectors a regulator and pump, with hondata or some type of management, you would be fine.Superchargers like compression, so try and keep it around 11:1 to or so, and run the srp's.

With the compression you have now, you will be fine.

i would never switch out forged pistons for stock cast pistons....going from 10.4 to 11:1 is hardly any diffrence......leave them alone!
