LISTEN to this guy!!!
Best use is pr3 or p30 pistons and a milled block/head for your compression.

Re: b16 and what pistons???? (Jmorin)
Ok, So if i use ctr pistons i must mill the head and something about shaving 1mm of each side of the piston-side of the rod ?
Is there any piston i can use like arias or something with my stock rods with no boring and clearance will be ok?

its better to overbore..why are you so anti bore? its doubtful that a used b16a has cylinders that are within spec. your best bet is to go with .25 p30's, bore it , hone it, and break it in on straight, new bores. You'll make more power, and your engine will live longer. Its not worth burning oil to save 100 bucks for a bore/hone.
if you want to bump it up higher..you can go for some flat top valves, they'll raise compression .4 -----> http://omnipowerusa.com/Produc....html
you can also go for a thinner head gasket..or mill the head. Forged pistons will cost you appx. 450-500...vs. 220.00. and there are no hp gains from forged pistons
don't go too crazy on compression, set your compression around the octane available to you. not like the rest of these h-t idiots, they retard their timing to compensate for lack of octane/too high of a compression ratio.

Re: b16 and what pistons???? (myke)
ya i would have to go with tech43. even thou i dont see a problem with the pct its like about 11.0 c.r. but i dont know if theres ne piston to valve problem there but i know the pcts dont have as big as a valve relief as the p30s and pr3 so if u want a bigger cam stay with the o.s. p30's 2 layer gasket, and race flat valves

Re: b16 and what pistons???? (Jmorin)
I have a b16a with .25mm ovesize CTR pistons , block decked 0.005" and OEM headgasket , JUN 2 cams no problems , with my deck hieght the compression is around 12.4 most people say 10.8 or somewheres around ther for compression because when using a calculator like cspeed racing that is wht you get wih a stock + 0.020 deck hiegt but CTR in a B16A actually measure -0.019 they actually stick out of the block some i built my engine , i am a Honda technician. they work awsome last year with ITR cams and intake etc i got 179whp and 119ft/lbs. will be tunning next week with the Jun 2's and a Hondata , also last year compression was alittle lower . i never had the block decked
hope i helped you out...good luck
