The best advice for you is to search, ill be nice, i remember when i was starting out, just read all you can, questions like this here will get you flamed, sad but true.

You have a eg chassis so any B series swap will be relatively easy in comparison to any other chassis.

Least amount of stress....

Search and read up on B series swaps.

A B16 would probably be the best bet.

Alot more work than a B-series, this is NOT a swap for beginners, I recommend doing as much research as possible so you know your getting yourself into before you make up your mind.

first of all welcome to h-t. and as all the others have said, it's always nice to use the search menu.

on the swap it all depends on what you looking to do and what your goals are.

here's a break down of what each motor roughly costs.

1. H22a prelude jdm/usdm very powerful motor w/ just simple bolt on's (I/H/E, etc..), and ideal for N/A, not too turbo friendly stock. Recommend a rebuild of minor headwork and bottom end work before turboing it. Prices ranges from ~3000-3500 w/ labor @ some local shops.

2. B18c gsr good all around for N/A or turbo. Built pretty sturdy from factory and could handle more abuse you throw at it compared to a h22. (but limit yourself on what you do to it) head's built alot better w/ intake dual valve springs (a must at high rpm) -3000-4000 w/ labor @ some local shops.

3. B16a good mild N/A motor. not as sturdy built as the gsr from factory but w/ minor aftermarket parts it will runs just as good as a gsr swap. afforadable for the price and drives w/ pretty decent power. good beginner swap. ~1000-2500 w/ labor @ most shops.

Hope this helps and gl w/ your search.

You can either go with a b16 or b18 with a least amount of stress.
