I think I screwed up my release bearing install; quick question
I think I installed the clutch arm 180 degrees out. I put the tranny back on and now I can pull up on the clutch arm with no force and I can hear it hit the pressure plate and then there's no more travel left in the clutch arm.
So is it possible to put the clutch arm back in 180 degrees from where it should be?

You might be just fine.. there is alot of play in the clutch arm with no cable attatched. and you can't pull it by hand the way that you think you should be able to.
Hook up your clutch cable and adjust it to factory specs and try it out. I'd be willing to bet that you are just fine.
I'm not picturing the "180 degrees out" scenario that you are describing, but I don't think you can install them backwards or anything. If the rubber block thing is hanging downwards, it is in correct. I dont think you could install it wrong, though.

even with the cable adjusted all the way there's no resistance in the clutch arm and the clutch isn't being released.
