Whats the easiest way to pull the dash......................
It's very frustrating. The hardest to reach screws holding it in place are the ones behind the center stack, by the AC control etc. Find someone with skinny monkey arms.
Even with the steering wheel off and the column lowered as much as possible, I still had trouble wrestling it out. Clearance on the driver's side is tight.....mine cracked right by the VIN.
Cliffs: I suck at it. Hopefully you won't

Remove the glove box, fuse cover, center console, and your cluster first. Next there are
about six bolts. One top center, one at bottom where the center console was, one on the left side and right inside. Take off the cover vents on the left and right outsides and remove those bolts. Start pulling
Be aware that when removing the inside bolts you might take out the wrong ones because there are two and they are close to each other. Just make sure you keep your screwing in order

In adddition I really recomend taking the steering wheel off...it only takes a few minutes and really helps...also if you do not want to chance breaking something pull the headlight and windsheild wiper arm too
someone told me that u can put a 91 crx si dash on a 91 civic hb with no problems is this true? and if u can would it be more dificult?
I put a 91 crx dash into 88 dx. Bottom bolt doesn't go right and there is a lot of re-wiring for the cluster.
i just removed a dash from a crx and it was a piece of cake. the only thing that gave me trouble was the cable for the vent. you definitely have to unbolt the steering column and drop it down, but i did not have to remove the steering wheel. it definitely helps to have a 2nd pair of hands when actually pulling it out, but i was able to do it by myself. it took me about 20 minutes to remove the dash
