anyone know how much boost a stock gsr can handle
thats a relative question based on what turbo you have and what setup. it all depends.
typical kit will be around 7psi and last you quite soem time

I have read of a few people boosting like 9-10psi or a little more on a stock gsr, but the tuning better be right on. Like b18bturbo said, it does depend on the turbo and your setup, it would be smarter to stick to 7-8psi if you want it to last for a while.

Yep, and I've noticed that stock motors break pretty quickly when you get around 300 whp. 250-275 will usually last for a while if the motor is in good shape and it has a good tune.

Not necessarily.
We have several customers with stock blocks pushing at least 300whp daily driven for several thousand miles with no problems.
