Default Emission centers in King County, Seattle, WA

I've got to get emissions done and really don't want to re-tune or pull my turbo and everything. Does anyone know if one of the centers would be more understanding of my situation , or am I going to have to deal with the head ache? Tuned w/Power FC and no cat, no smoking issues and plugs look perfect. What do you think?

There is no inspection in King County. Pass the sniffer test and you pass the emmissions test.

Can you do dual maps with the power FC? Or at least just save your map for later use? If so lean out the vacuum portion of your map to cut down your hydrocarbon and CO emmissions. Having no cat really will hurt your case, but if you lean it out you can still pass.

If it were me.... I would stick a cat in the car. You could flange it and replace with a test pipe after the test. Then you can swap the cat back in whenever you need to be inspected.

But, to answer your question, no, I don't know of any shady testing facilities.

I just recently went through headaches here in tacoma to pass and to be honest the easiest way is to simply register somewhere else where you dont have to do emmissions . I went to a licensing office and changed my address and she gave me my tags. It only cost like $33 , and it better than changing your car or paying someone to help you
