Default calling all h22 in a eg owners

i am having a valve tap problem i have adjusted them about 6 or 7 times and they still tap loud as hell so if anyone has any answers or sugjestions let me know.
coming close to telling it or burning it.

Are you talking about valve ticking? It could be the injectors as well. My brother got a valve adjustment on his DA9 and his car still ticks the way it did before, it's just a Honda thing.

check your oil? do you do the maintenance on time? and yes honda engines are always tickling If it doesnt get louder when it goes to higher rpms it should be fine.

Ticking is normal at low RPMs (mainly idle), it's something to worry about if you can hear it at higher RPMs.

I had a 97 prelude with an h22 that I got for really cheap. It had valve ticking pretty bad. I adjusted them twice to no avail. Turns out it was a rod bearing. I hope that's not your problem but I wouldn't rule it out.

well i have rc 310s in it now and a vtec controller with a msd 6 digital plus. what is the stock size injector for the h22a

nah it is quiet at idle it gets louder the higher the rpms

the oil is new i bought the motor off of some guy and put it in my car like 4 months ago and from day one it was ticking and i havent driven the car for that reason should i try anouther head

can it be from having smaller injectors. cuz i have rc 310s in it now

why dont you try the Prelude section b/c it has nothing to do with the civic body
