i was also considering gettting these along with a new fan switch and thermostat. cant see how the hoses will "work better" than OEM though. Better quality YES but work better.......how will you be able to tell that?

To help this thread out I will ad to it with this:
The SAMCO Sport silicone hoses will not "work" better. It is not like the inside is coated with some magic substance that makes the coolant flow with less restriction!
The main point to upgrading to the silicone hoses is that they will be better suited to the higher pressures and temperatures which come from motors that have been modified or, that are working passed the limits for which it was built to withstand from the factory.

It is not about keeping heat in or out, that is not the job/function of the radiator hoses. The radiator, cooling fans and type of coolant are going to be the main players in the temperature of your coolant.
