i checked all of the wires and everything and i don't see any metal on metal or anything, can it be anything else? i really want to get my car started but i dont know whats goin on
does anyone have any idea of something else that might be causing it? should i try changing the starter? i want my car ready by at least aug. 13th for honda day but i would like to have it for the next honda-tech meet here on aug. 6th

You have a short to ground somewhere. Check all your grounds and if it keeps doing the same thing then something in the starter is grounding out to the case and you will need to find a new one. This is caused by overtightening of the bolt on the starter itself and it makes the metal conductor inside the starter ground to itself. I know from experience (
