if you have the money get ss, but ceramic is fine too, header really doesn't do all too much anyway. don't waste your money.

Are you kidding me? Sure, by itself it doesn't do anything but if you have a good exhaust and a good header it will give you more power.

Thats right better flow. Props to JDM for pointing that out.

Thanks, think about it.. If the header is bigger, it's going to give you better airflow, thus more power.

Actually, a header can be one of the most important factors for producing maximum power in a naturally aspired engine in terms of determining the motors power band and so forth. Of course, if we're just talking about one of these DC headers, or other 'standard' headers.....you're not looking at all that. It'd then mostly be for minor gains, sound, and looks.

Stainless will radiate more heat out into the engine bay than CC...but will last far longer, and will not rust on the inside as much as a CC header would. Rust internally can cause power loss.

Ultimately, a SS header wrapped with some kind of heat shielding material, is the best option. Especially when we're dealing with production headers, and not a specialized header like the bisi or AN-R units for example.

Said it better than I could . He's correct with the rust, SS can rusy but not NEARLY as fast as ceramic can. And, besides SS being overall better, it looks awesome too when it turns that nice bronzeish/gold color.

Yeah rust causes irregularity in flow or a major decrease in flow, rust is bad.

Rust is bad in general, it destroys our Hondas.
