Does anyone know if the cruise control off a type S can be installed on a base (Cdn base)?

If I can get a steering wheel with the cruise buttons and a cruise control unit of a Type S, would it be an easy install to put that on a base that never came with cruise control? I'm hoping that the wiring harnesses and what not are already there.

I would imagin its a staright swap, electronics such as those are all the same between the base and type s. So in Canada bases dont come with CC? Its standard here in the states.

Yeah, I would imagine too (hope actually). It's for my gf. Yeah, CDN bases don't come with cruise control which was never an issue except now she might have to commute to the other end of town for a job so I'm looking to do a cruise control mod for her.

 

i never use my cc...i dont like the green light that comes on wen u press the buttom it clashes wit the red interior lights...and the thing i hate is wen i use my cc the traffic always starts to drive slow then im always adjusting it...
