my inspection was do in like may.. now newyork has that gay new inspection thing thats not allowing my car to be inspected.. i have a b16 swapped into a 98.. with a obd1 computer the engines obd2.. what could i do?

do they check emissions by pluggin to ur ecu?? or running on dyno??

 

A YO JUST GO TO SOMEONE WHO YOU CAN PAY OF TO DO IT. MY DAD PAYS 50.00$ FOR A INSPECTION STICKER AND DEY DONT EVEN HOOK HIS CAR UP.

 

you can't pay people anymore.. cuz if you get pulled over they can check it and trace it back to the garage...


THEY CHECK IT BY PLUGGING INTO THE ECU

 

Plus they are trying to make it where the smog place has to send everyting, like test results to the dmv right away...kinda gay if you ask me.

 

On top of that they are really cracking down on shops that are passing cars that shouldnt. Shops are getting hit with like 10k fines and they get their smog license revoked. Only way your gonna get a smog is if u got a good friend...

 

THAT SUX...........ETHER FIND A SHOP OR SOMETHING OR JUST GO ALL STOCK!!!!

 

Yea man... sorry to say but your going to have to convert back to OBD2. At least temporarilly.

 

go use your friend's car. Where i am from they don't check the vins

depending which ecu you use you might throw some codes which the scanner isnt gonna like either

Why on earth are you runnign a gutted cat? In addition to making you car loud as hell that is also killing your power.

Does the machine automatically send the ECU information and VIN# straight to the DMV so you CAN NOT duplicate or use another car for an inspection?

 

Find a small il corner shop pay him off or find a friend of a friend thats knows a friend that knows a dude that would do it! and cops don't really check any more unless...you live in Cali or V.A or M.D. and Wasington!!!! and hey if you love this life style your gonna have to go all out like goin' back stock or take your frinds car and do your bizz!
