I know we have the appearance and cosmetic forum, but since people are always wanting to show off there car, and want to show different new things they have done to it, we should make a Sticky At the top of our 92-00 Civic / Del Sol Forum that people can put there pictures up. If you are in favor of this put a i think it be kinda cool. Hope not to be flamed, just throwing it out there. please dont tell me i should search and what not. thanks, hopefully you like the idea.

That's why we have an A/C forum. This forum is for technical questions for our EG/EKs.

 

yea man, why does the crx/ef forum gets this PLUS a video thread?? i love my hatch more then they love theirs!

It would eliminate people posting up, "Can you post ....." Im not trying to **** anyone off or anything, this doesnt have to be a heated conversation. Just seeing if the mods, or who ever can alter this site would consider the change. I like looking on here at everyones civics, this would just make it easier for everyone.

 

That defeats the purpose of having an Appearance and Cosmetic forum. If that was the case, there will be the same in all the forums. The forum is hard to control as it is, adding that feature will only make it harder. We'll keep the forum updated if any major changes will take part.

 

I completely see what your coming from, being that what im Suggesting is all ready made, but that is all car makes. Not just civic's/ del sols. This one people could go in and look at everyones pics, being motor pics, exterior, interior or full body shots. If everyone could keep the chit chat done to a minum in there it would turn out awsome. If it were to stay clear of "oh thats cool" "nice ride" and so one. It could be a modification that betters the site. If it was at the top of the forum, people would be less likely to post thread asking for pictures of civic's/del sols.

 

Everyone makes a great point, but zdowell, the mods will NEVER let this fly. I'm surprised Dimi left it open. This has been tried a few times before this and I still don't see a pictures only thread. So your fighting a dead-ended battle. Just save your fingers from the arthritus and give up now.

Oh and they do have threads for specific model/generation civics and other cars in the appearance forum, so anyone could easily go look at them.

but if everyone creates threads of their vehicles' pics in this forum, all the good tech stuff would end up in archives way too fast...

 

What if there was a thread at the top of THe EG forum labels something like "<U></U>Civic/ Del Sol Pictures<U></U>" you click on that and post your pictures inside there? sorry if i didnt make that point clear.

but, unless you were to click on the thread you would have to see them. IT would be one more sticky. there would be Only one thread, and it would be there for people to post there pics.

i think a more thoughtful and more convincing argument to the site/mods would be. (as it pertains to making changes to the forum itself mainly the appearance and cosmetic section)

in the appearance and cosmetic forum we should have individual sections to represent each of the main group of body styles for the honda/acura. and for other type of cars that people tend to also show us just goes at the buttom in the OTHERS section.

something along the lines of how the new forsale section is divided up... this way we just click and view the specific car we want to see. ok.. im tired of typing.

Doesnt matter, theres absolutly no reason there should be a picture thread in the tech forum period. Why would you come to a tech forum to look at pictures?

Have the more popular cars on there, Civic, integra and etc. have it more filed so you didnt have to search through the A/C forum to find pictures of cars?

Instead of it in the 92-00 civic forum. Take away the A/C forum and put in Civic Accord integra...etc

If they let people post pictures in here, stupid kids will think it's okay to post pictures outside of the thread. Don't say that they will be punished for doing so, cause people break the rules ALL THE ******* TIME in this forum and they aren't always punished. People sometimes slip through the cracks and get away with it. They then think it's okay and keep doing it. There's already threads for "honda-tech's cleanest/nicest/most jdmest ek/eg/ej/bj ******* everything. If you wanna see pictures of JUST ek's go look up the thread. Same with ej's or eg's. Simple as that. So stop waisting everyones time.
