New to the All Motor game.
I'm obsessed with all motor. I love the hard work the science the raw sound. I've never got into turbos like my friends I'm the only all motor guy. They are faster. But I love the sound of a pissed off honda. It is an art, a life style, my DRUG... so like I said I'm new, I got a 1.8 GSR motor and head, the block has ITR pistons, and rods. The crank is stock GSR. The head has RS cams, valves, retainers and springs. No porting yet. DC header for now. and home made ITB's and 310 RC injectors. All stuffed in a stripped HF CRX but I run 14.2 on street tires. I want to be the fastest all motor in my town. The track record is 12.5 on slicks. By a rich kid. So I was wanting to get your guy's opinion on building my 1.8. I am trying to keep it streetable for the muscle cars in my area. That always want to flex at the light. I've read alot about sleeving mine into a 2 liter but they say that they don't last. So I am thinking about getting custom pistons for the stock bore. With 13.1 compression. With Eagle or crower econo billet rods. I don't know what to do with the crank knife edge or stock, or ITR crank. I am definately getting the head port and polished. I am happy with my cams. I do want to get the real ITB's and a DTR header. I know you guys have put in the time and work but I live in a small town. Theres more cows than people. So I rely on magazines and Honda Tech. I want to thank my friend Sisong for helping me with my motor. It is because of friends like him that make me want to keep on building imports. Because where I live muscle cars rule. I am looked down on because of my love for Honda's. Sorry for the book thanks for listening.
Send your head to brad at rlz, or tom at portflow, they can set you up with an excellent port, and valvejob. Invest in a good 2.5 inch exhaust and An ANR, RMF, Spark racing, DRT, smsp, or hytech header. And get the car tuned
