Default LS TURBO

Does anyone know how to tap a block for an oil feed line, and how much boost can you run on a stock ls with a t3 and side mount intercooler?

for your oil pan, youd have to drill a hole into it, then either get it welded up with a fitting or use jb weld.

flamenco-t makes a kit for oil supply to the turbo. it has a tee that runs off the back of the block so you dont have to tap the block.

how much is that kit, bc picking up a spare oil pan and fitting isnt expensive at all

Has anyone used the Golden Eagle oil-filter adapter for a turbo feed? They make if for the LS/VTEC kit but it looks like it would work for a turbo too...

i think 17psi was the most ive seen on a stock block ls. then again it was only one dyno pull so that doesnt prove its safe...

From what I've been reading, 300 whp is the limit (w/ tuning).

I run 10 low 15 high on my stock motor ls. And I have put 20psi down on the street before....And 300 is not the limit...it's just the norm now.

Yea, arent you supposed to tune turbo setups by their HP and not by their PSI? Because different turbo setups produce different CFM.
