Need some advice on turbo return line from block on a gsr
I dont know if I should buy a oil filter relocation kit and tap in to that. Or tap in to the block. Or is there a plug at the bottom of the block.
If I buy the oil filter relocation kit I could just splice in to that.
What are you guys doing.
Thanks

i dont understand what you are asking for...
there is a turbo FEED, then a RETURN/DRAIN line...
which one are you concerned about ?

I don't have a pic handy, but do a search on here. It's a block that goes between the oil filter and the engine block that allows you to tap into the oil supply. It uses filtered oil which is a nice plus.

Re: (1158)
I've always seen these used for the oil return to the motor. It sends the oil coming out of the turbo into the oil pan.
Your question is confusing though. The subject line reads: return line from block. The return line runs TO the motor. The oil feed line runs FROM the motor.
Hope this helps.

For a feed, yes
You need to tap your oil pan for the return. That's pretty much your only option for the return; which is gravity feed.

I think he meant teeing if off the line on a relocation oil kit. But alot of people feed the oil to the turbo from the oil pressure sensor. It's locate upbove the oil filter. Take the sensor off and put a t brass fitting and install the sensor onto the brass T and the just run your oil feed line to your turbo.
I might get an oil sandwich plate to run oil to my turbo on my b20 vtec. Then use the oil from the oil pressure sensor to run into my head for vtec. Maybe an oil pressure guage too.

Re: (turb20_vtec)
Gosh, you guys made it harder than it already is haha LOL...
This is what we do for the last 4 years ...
The oil feed line kit,
The oil return line kit,
You do need to have a threaded oil drain flange for the oil return kit, most turbos comes with it, if not, I can supply you with an aluminum billet flange and gasket.
You can use the sandwich adapter to tap the oil feed line or use it on the back of the block with the supplied BSPT adapter.
