Ebay clutch Gripforce is it worth the money if selling my car???
I am looking into buying a cheap ebay clutch from Gripforce clutch. has anyone used one of these and if so how did it work out?
I also found a good price ona Exedy OE replacement clutch for $95 brand new, but i have a boosted gsr w/ 240whp 180torque, will a OE replacement clutch hold up long enough to trade the car into a dealer?

if your just gonna sell it right away then ya why they hell not........just dont go beating on it after the clutch is installed..........put it in and granny drive it around then sell it......
I just had my buddy buy one for his 93 dx hatch. I am doing the install...we'll see what happens
I would never buy one but he is broke so hopefully it works out

just remember what goes around comes around, and if someone sold me a car with something like that done to it i would remove your ********* if and when something happened to it. and thats why i am afraid to buy used things.

ditto, karma is a bitch, atleast put oem exedy and be honest, better off with a quality clutch that might not hold great then a cheap clutch that will snap an possibly destroy your trans and or crank

I learned my lesson with cheap ebay clutches.. 2 weeks after it was installed, the disc broke into pieces and I had to buy a new disc + pay labor to have it fixed (which isn't cheap on a Prelude SH because of the stupid atts). I'm sticking with the name brand stuff from now on.
so basically i am hearing **** ebay clutches and they are pieces of ****. I don't want to put something of poor quality into a very top quality buolt car, however i am NOT selling it to a person, i am trading to a ******* dealer that would probabley do the same bs and sell it to someone else for more and just screw me on a trade in because a bad clutch, ya know?

i bought a Gripforce (clutchnet) stage 3 kit off ebay and it's been holding up just fine. engagement is a little harsh and trying to slip the clutch is just nonexistent. those are my only complaints. worth the money,imo...
do a search on here for gripforce clutches...i remember seeing a few threads in the past reguarding them.

THANKS FOR THE INPUT GUYS, I THINK I'LL JUST STICK WITH THE ACT 6 PUCK. I JUST CANT JUSTIFY BUYING A SHITTY CLUTCH SINCE ALL THE REST OF THE PARTS IN MY CAR ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST. IT'D BE KINDA REDICULOUS RIGHT?
