Re: Yonaka Clutches
actually i have this very same clutch disc in my boosted b18c. and it has given me no problems as of yet, and i've had it for about 2000 miles now. i talked to the guy before buying it and he told me it's made by exedy. could of been blowing smoke up my ***, but like I said it hasn't given me any problems yet. it can't be any worse than yur F1 clutch!

Re: Yonaka Clutches
exedy isn't even made by exedy...
so let me get this straight....you're ebay clutch slips, so you want to buy another cheap ebay clutch. stop being cheap and buy a good clutch from a reputable company.

Re: Yonaka Clutches
well probly not as much as you are according to your sig. i actually haven't got to dyno it yet, but I'm running on 8psi right now on stock bottom end. I guessin between 260-275 whp. since the clutch is rated at 300 ft/lbs, I probly wouldn't actually go past 260tq just to play it safe until you can get a better clutch since i really doubt it could handle 300tq. but with my setup it's worked fine

We've sold lots of them, and people have nothing but positive feedback.
Yonaka is actually giving one away right now on their facebook page if you're fast, the draw for a free clutch is tomorrow.

Re: Yonaka Clutches
do you like installing clutches again and again?
just save up and get what you want the first time, instead of paying 3x more replacing junk again and again...

Re: Yonaka Clutches
Well just because there arent reviews doesnt make it bad... yout think people only reveiw only the beststuff? people review and write about bad things all the time
for all i know they are relatively new company....maybe thats why?
im sure i could find a dozen threads about how crappy xtd clutches and f1 clutches are, CC clutches even have a bad rap with people
This was more of a thread for people who have real experience with there clutches... im sure you CC, Exedy, ACT clutch people were hoping someone would come in and say something negative about it to justify your claim that you have no basis on....
not trying to argue, just trying to find someone info on the product from people who have actually used them,, particulary the power they put down on them

Re: Yonaka Clutches
Sometimes the "reputable" companies aren't any better. For example; competition clutch, I ran for 1000 miles aprox a couple years ago (400$ clutch kit) 6 puck sprung. 1000 miles, thing exploded.. So, I honestly hate when people use the whole, you get what you pay for saying. Because it doesn't always pay off buying something based on the price.
