yea, it should fit, I used everything from my old swap, but the only thing is that the ac compressor will only bolt up to 2 of the 4 holes. It will stay though. Get the ac belt for the b18c5 to fit.

Get the ac bracket from a 97 honda crv and it will bolt to the engine and the d series ac compressor will bolt up with all four bolts, no problem. You can get the bracket from Honda for about $75.

If you already have the B-Series bracket from the type r on there, why spend $75, when you can bolt on the D series compressor and 2 bolts will hold it. I've had mine on for over 2 years, and it never got loose.

you are one of the lucky ones then, because more than likely, those two bolts will snap. Ive seen it happen a lot of times. Anyways, get a 97 CRV bracket pn: 38930-P7J-000. This is a good honda site http://www.slhonda.com/orderparts.jsp or http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

Because that is a risky way to do it. I'd drop the money on a correctly patterned bracket.
