Default Camber Question

hey guys, i lowered my car last week, and i was driving around some corners taking them at same speed I would on oem springs, and the tires would squeel more, however i did feel that handling improved, but the tires screech waaaay more, i read in the "basic guide to accords" thread that negative camber improves handling but wears out the tires quicker, just wondering if this is whats going on with my car? The drop was about 3" on stupid cheap ebay sleeve-overs, *** is bouncing everywhere, time to save up for some real springs.

Default Re: Camber Question (aleks77)

Running negative camber has always been the venue of such racing types as outlaw, Nascar and some Indy types where they need the additional "stick" thru the turns. But it comes at a terrible price in accellerated tire wear (usually two to three tire sets per race (depending on the track)
Ideally, after the lowering, the camber should be reset (adjusted) to as close to zero (0 degrees) degrees for both best tire wear characteristics and turning response in both directions. Anything else, and your tires will become very expensive erasers
