Default D16Y8

Can you guy's help me make a list of possible performance upgrades someone can do on a D16Y8

this is wut i came up with

Intake system
throttle body
intake manifold
fuel rail
fuel pressure regulator
fuel filter
fuel pump
fuel injectors
head work
pistons
rods
crank
cam
cam gear
pulley kit
exhaust manifold
high flow cat
cat-back exhaust
header
turbo
intercooler
lowering springs
coilover kit
drag kit
clutch
flywheel
short shifter

thats pretty much all i can think of anyone else care to chip in and help let everyone know wut the performance parts are that you can upgrade a D16Y8
everyone says how shitty it is and stuff well i think b16 and b18's are over used and even h22 or b20 way too over used i want to see a d16 sit on top of all the boards and here is where you can help me accomplish that
ppl can look at this and start upgrading there d16 and kill all those d and h series

I say maybe an OBD1 conversion with some kind of EMS, such as uberdata, hondata ect....

Just my 2 cents

I would wait until you decide if youre going to be boosting or not. Then look into what EMS set up would be best for you. If you want, you can just run an AFC unitl you boost, but there probably isnt much need to.

haha simmer down there...

Your car is running an OBD2 computer, which is shitty ( i know i have OBD2), OBD2 is made moe for EPA and emissions. With obd1, you can chip the ecu with programs such as uberdata, chrome, hondata, ect.... Basically giving you more options and it also knocks out the cat o2 sensor. Research is a little bit too. But for an OBD1 conversion, you would need an OBD2A (i believe) to obd1 conversion harness, an obd1 ecu (pref p28) and possibly an obd1 dizzy.

save some money and work with what you have.. port and polish your head, bore out your throttle body, get hondata so u dont have to get fuel items and tune those by yourself. if your not boosting or nitrous just keep your crank and get it micro polished and balanced. can't go wrong with some forged pistons and rods. yeah get a nice clutch set up. through some nitrous and a cam on there and you'll be good to go with a tune
