Default extremely low compression test numbers. how to fix?

1- 170
2- 180
3- 160
4- 150

these are the compression test numbers i got when i tested a 1994 acura integra gsr. i know they are extremely low and shoudl be around 200. i am more worrieda bout the difference between them however. can anyone explain what this could be because and how i could fix this. headgasket? valves. The valves wer quite noisy so im thinking that the valves werent adjusted in quite some time. thanks

adjust your valves first and see....

compression numbers vary depending on the gauge.

What you should look for is consistency.... my B18C VteCh shows 180ish across....

but on another gauge it was 210ish....go figure....
