JDM GSR Specs?
Hey everyone,
I just got a JDM GSR swap into my car, but I have a few questions about it...
Does anybody know where I can find some basic specs about it (in English)? I know it has 180-190 hp, but I don't know much else.
Also, my redline seems to be around 8,200 opposed to the USDM 8,500? Does anybody know what would attribute to that? Any help would be appreciated! TIA!

If you would search around you would find exactly what your looking for. The only differences in the JDM GSR and USDM GSR is the pistons (USDM is 10:1 vs. the JDM 10.6:1), and the ECU are slightly different. The stock redline on the JDM and USDM GSR 8100 RPM. I think stock revlimiter is set at 8300 RPMS on both. The JDM motor is rated at 178 HP and the USDM motor is rated at 170HP.
usdm gsr redline is at 8k and the rev limiter is set at 8200 rpms not 8500, no offense but you can search anywhere for the specs, definitely on a site that sells swaps. the jdm gsr is claimed to have 180hp and 128ft/lbs tq vs. the usdm with 170hp and 121ft/lbs tq. but every motor is different cause i have seen several usdm gsr's beat jdm swaps and vice versa.
Thanks for the good info about the gsr specs. It was very helpful in understanding exactly what im working with. I swapped that motor into my car and a usdm 98 integra said his is hitting an 8,500 redline with stock internals but i didnt think that was correct. do you have the jdm b18c motor in your integra? thanks again

Do not do this. Ever.
You have a notepad for a reason. I suggest that you use it. Here is a link:
