do you actually HAVE nitrous? not just a purge kit?
IMO, if your actually running nitrous, and you already have a purge kit...then theirs not any shame in doing so. i have mine coming out as a V behind the hood.
cool stuff

now if you don thave nitrous, and all you have is a friggen colored purge kit..go kill yourself b4 you have any kids...your too stupid to reproduce.

yes i actully do have nitrous but my kit didnt come with a purge valve. Last time i checked a purge valve was for function not form. Since i DO have nitrous i would like to have a purge so i can get the air out of the line so only nitrous will be injected and not air. If air then nitrous was injected the A/F ration would be thrown off due to fuel being added without the proper mixture of nitrous, you know since its a wet kit. I dont understand why on this site when someone askes a question they get flamed for being rice. I thought this site was for helping people with question and ideas not putting them down. And if it was a show kit which it isnt, that is their thing and they still needed help. Thats what is wrong with this country these days people only looking to help people if it intrests them but not just to help and better themselves and others. Good Day

from what i know, you have a purge kit because you want to get the hot N2O that has been sitting in your engine bay out. i don't believe that the nitrous in the lines turn into air. and if it does, i believe you have a leak. it should technically be able to hold the pressured N2O in the lines even AFTER you turned the system off. and isn't the purge kit like an extra $100, i know the nx kits don't come with the purge kit n needs to be bought separately

N2O is a liquid when in the bottle and line but once exposed to heat it turn to a gas (air) which is usally done in the combustion chamber. If it sits in the line it will turn to a gas. Also every manufacter recomends to turn off the bottle and clear the line. So a purge would be needed

i wasnt flaming you. i said if you HAD nitrous that it was cool. its just the stupid pple who pose that get under my skin, as well as others. i mean..come on, they sell colored purge kits, not for function as its intended..but to be used ONLY for show..so sad.

and as far as my understanding goes..its to clear any air that is in the line and have the nitrous at the solinoid* ready to shoot into your engine.

in my experience w/nitrous (6 yrs of playin w/the stuff) when were done racing my truck, we turn off the bottle and purge out any of the remaining nitrous in the line.not good to leave the n20 pressurized in the line, plus it does go bad(like darkdragon said).but when we get ready to run again, we purge all the air out of the line to get the n20 to the solinoid and get ready to hold on..weve got 175hp jets in now

What you may want to do is pipe it to a section of PVC piped on the other end. Then you can drill holes in hte PVC pipe where you want it to mist. I have done something similar to what you are talking about, just without the T.
