OK, I posted this last year, and no one came up with any solutions, so I'm gonna try again. I have a 93 d16z6, with 14b turbo, 450 injectors, Uberdata (used to be afc hack). What my car is doing is, when I start up the car when it's cold and let it get up to temp and do a run, I can go all the way up to redline before shifting and it pulls hard, but after I've done that once, maybe twice, and try it again... it feels like I am getting a fuel cut out at 6000 rpms every time. I know it has nothing to do with Uberdata becuase it was doing it when I had the afc hack as well, and my fuel cut on uberdata is set at 7200rpms. When I first put my turbo on , I had a t25 and for the frist month with it it never did it, the it just started one day, and has done it ever since. So far, I have straigh piped my cat, and replaced my already new spark plugs with some NGK 1 step colder ones and gapped then to .30, Originally I had some autolite 1 step colders gapped to .30 also. The 450 injectors are black tops out of a 98 eclipse, so I wouldn't think they are bad. I have the stock spark plug wires on. I havn't seen any cracks on them. I also put a new distrbutor on about 2 years ago, not the cap, the actual distributor. Hum, just thought of this, maybe a fuel pump, that's still stock. Any ideas, or do you need more info?

 

i have a 95 d16z6 with a greddy turbo kit that did the same thing. it didnt do it right away but when it did it blew 2 days later. have no idea why. good luck.

ok first things to check..
you need 2 step coldxer than stock
gap to .28
install aftermarket coil
use magnacore 8.5mm wires only (others are ok, but these are the best)
install new cap and rotor (yes this makes a bg diff)
again aftermarket coil is a big factor.

another dumb question...
are you loosing antifreeze? is your overflow overly full? I had a problem using the stock radiator. I had to upgrade due to the increase in performance caused such a pressure surge that it overflows the overflow and this caused it to **** water all over, then the turbo inlet sucked it in and caused this issue. once i repalced the radiator to a koyo racing version problem solved.

 

try checking your timing. If your still stumped after checking over stuff, check to see if your timing belt skipped any teeth. Sorry, i haven't really got any other ideas.

 

i had that problem. It was my lost motion assembly in my Y8 head. I don't know if it is your exact problem. I would jump to conclusions. BUt check timing, and maybe replace the fuel filter and stuff like that.

 

I checked my timing and it's fine, but I will replace my fuel filter and then if that doesn't do it, Ill upgrade my fuel pump to a walbro 255.

 

I was wondering how much power you make with the t-25 turbo because I am runing a t-25 turbo?
