Unexplainable clicking noise.
ok i've got a 97 Hx, no other mods except for a short ram intake. My problem is I hear a strange clicking noise when the engine has been run for a while. It reminds me of the sound crickets make (and i checked for crickets, thanks
). I thought it could be pinging, but I wouldnt know what that sounds like. Its more pronounced when the A/C is on I've been driving for more than an hour.
This is really pissing me off and I'd like to get rid of it! Thanks for the help

Could it possibly be a weak tranny? If i keep the rpm's up and *****-foot the gas it doesnt usually happen. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Same with mine, I can usually only hear it at idle. I'm guessing either injectors or your valves. My brother got a valve adjustment on his DA9 and his still clicks, just the way it is.
