Kidding aside, zero is a safe amount, anything more is increasing the risk of something ugly happening. Just today, i saw an accord 4-cyl motor with a hole the size of a quarter in piston #1, all the piston heads looked like they had been sandblasted, this one was like melted through, and he wasn't running any insane amount.
damn, I don't know where that pic is, but I blew my motor on a 70 shot. My friend Keith is running 100 on his and it runs great. Good luck
If you have an R ill be nice enuf to let you have my motor to practice on and when you figure out a good shot you can buy another motor so you dont have to blow up a perfectly good type r motor. deal?
Nitrious, like any other major mod like FI requires good tuning, research and being careful. Nitrious can cause damage, just like an untuned supercharger or turbo can you just need to have the proper setup and know what you are doing.
Its not always the shot of N20 that can cause the damage that you saw. Hitting the fuel cut off, the wrong plugs, wrong timing, spraying for to long, etc can all cause major damage even with a small shot of N20.
With that said, I wouldn't use N20 on a TypeR. Save it for a civic
