I screwed up big time: NEED HELP!!!
I was in the process of removing the sound deadening in my car so that I could install brand new b-quite throughout.
Well, after I applied the dry ice and was beginning to remove the sound deadening on the passenger side, I punched a hole through the sheet metal. I found myself staring at the pavement through a half-dime sized hole. I was using a chisel to start a section to where I could begin using a putting knife and I used a bit too much force.
So my question is, what the hell do I do now. How do i get this fixed?? How much will it cost to get fixed?
I know it was stupid, but it was a mistake...damn this sucks. any help/advice would be appreciated.

Quickand easy way.. Bondo
get a little kit.. it will come with directions.. and if u wanted to.. u can touch it up with a little paint.
or u can replace the whole sheet-metal... but that will cost a lot more

and can I buy a bondo kit at any auto parts store like kragen?
Will I have to worry about rust? Should I get some rustoleum and spray it down before I bondo?
Thanks for the help. It is greatly appreciated.

ya man. tell the guy at the store exactly what you did, and he can prob help u out. you may even be able to find a kit at a hardware store.
it prob wont rust.. but when ur done with the bondo process and its dry.. spray a little primer on there to prevent rust. but rustoleum would work too

Bondo can crack and eventually break away. Best way will be to get the hole welded up.. If you are in so cal I could do it for you. If it is just a dime size hole you would not even have to use any back up material, you could just keep spot welding the hole till it is filled. A welding shop will do it for you cheap, then you just need to grind it down a liitle and you are set
