Default motor mount

When I hit the throttle "hard", it feels like the motor moves and is hesitate 1 sec before it revs.

I've added to all 3 torque mount ES poly insert....believe it or not it still does it.

What's up ?

the only way to check your motor mounts if they are good or bad is pop up the hood, have some in step on the gas pedal, put it in 1st gear with parking brake is on and you watch it.

by the way, it sounds like your distributor is bad.

1st gear = in front of it ? Right ! thanks for trying.

It's not the distributor. It's a translation problem, not a fire problem.

You can grab the valve cover & try to shake it, look for too much sloppy motion.

Or hold the main brake pedal (I wouldn't trust the handbrake) & brake-torque if it's automatic. If it's manual, you can heel/toe to do the same thing. Have someone do this while you stand alongside & watch for excessive movement of the engine.

But when you said 'hesitation' it really does sound like something else. ESPECIALLY with your poly inserts.
