my subs are not working
The subs are blown, there is a wiring problem, the amps outputs are blown, the amps input stage is blown, the RCAs are unplugged at the amp or HU, the RCAs are bad, the pre-amp output stage of the HU is blown, and there are a few other things that can be wrong.
The first thing I would do is disconnect the subs speaker wire from the amp, using a batt., 9V works good, touch the wires to the 2 term. of the batt., the subs should "pop", out when you connect the speaker pos. (+) wire to the batt. pos. (+) term and the speaker neg. (-) wire to the batt. neg. (-) term, and the subs will "pop" in if you reverse the speaker wire on the batt.. if the subs do not "pop" the subs are blown or there is a wiring problem in the sub box, check all the connections, if they do "pop" then the problem is the amp or up-line of the amp.
