my sub stoped working. help!!!!
here is the problem my sub is not working. at first the amp was on but the sub was not making any sound. a few people told me to just rewire the wires so i did that. while i was taking off the power cord it hit the amp and sparked( not sure if that is relavant). then it wouldent turn on at all. now i am stuck with no subs and and amp that wont turn on.
anybody know what could be wrong?
what is a good system for the money if i have to buy a new one

When the power wire touched and sparked the fuse blew, [by batt.]
I would also check the sub, disconnect the subs speaker wires from amp, use a 9V batt. and touch the two speaker wire leads to the two terminals of the batt, the sub should "pop", if it does not, pull the sub from the box and check the wiring, if it's good then it's a good bet the sub is blown.
